Working Principle Description:
PSA technology is adsorption at higher pressure to achieve gas separation and regeneration of adsorbent at lower pressure. The method is based on the selective adsorption of oxygen and nitrogen components in the air by molecular sieves. When the air is compressed and passes through the adsorption tower with zeolite molecular sieve, nitrogen molecules are preferentially adsorbed, and oxygen molecules remain in the gas phase and become oxygen.
When the adsorption reached equilibrium, the nitrogen molecules adsorbed on the zeolite surface were removed by decompression to restore the adsorption capacity of zeolite. In order to provide oxygen continuously, the device is usually equipped with two or more adsorption towers, one for adsorption and the other for desorption, so as to achieve the purpose of continuous oxygen production.
