Working Principle Description:

Air Intake: The concentrator pulls in ambient air from the surroundings, which undergoes a filtration process to remove impurities and ensure the purity of the incoming air.

 

Air Compression: An integrated air compressor increases the pressure of the intake air. By raising the air pressure, the concentration difference between oxygen and other gases, such as nitrogen, is enhanced, enabling efficient separation.

 

Adsorption Separation: The compressed air enters an adsorber unit that contains a specialized adsorbent material, typically molecular sieves. Within the adsorber, the adsorbent selectively captures and retains other gases like nitrogen, while allowing oxygen molecules to pass through, achieving the separation of oxygen from the air.

 

Nitrogen Release: When the adsorbent material becomes saturated with captured gases, a regeneration process is initiated. By reducing the pressure within the adsorber, the adsorbent releases the captured nitrogen. The discharged nitrogen is expelled from the system to maintain the adsorber's regenerative state.

 

Oxygen Collection: While one adsorber is in the adsorption phase, the other adsorber is in the regeneration phase, ensuring a continuous supply of oxygen. The oxygen that passes through the adsorber is collected through dedicated pipelines. Before being supplied to hospitals, laboratories, or factories, the collected oxygen undergoes filtration and purification procedures to ensure its high purity.
