Working Principle Description:
Air Intake: The PSA oxygen concentrator draws in ambient air. The incoming air undergoes filtration to remove impurities and particles, ensuring the purity of the input air.
Air Compression: A compressor compresses the intake air to a higher pressure. This compression increases the pressure difference between oxygen and nitrogen, enabling the subsequent adsorption separation process.
Adsorbent Separation: The compressed air enters an adsorber filled with an adsorbent material, typically molecular sieves. Within the adsorber, nitrogen molecules are selectively adsorbed by the adsorbent, allowing oxygen molecules to pass through and achieve the separation of nitrogen and oxygen.
Nitrogen Release: When the adsorbent in the adsorber becomes saturated, it requires regeneration. During the regeneration process, the pressure in the adsorber is reduced through a pressure relief valve, causing the adsorbent to release the adsorbed nitrogen. The released nitrogen is discharged from the system to maintain the regenerative state of the adsorber.
Oxygen Collection: While one adsorber is undergoing regeneration, the other adsorber starts adsorbing nitrogen. The oxygen that passes through the adsorber is collected through oxygen collection pipelines. The collected oxygen undergoes filtration and purification steps to ensure its purity before being supplied.
Cycling Alternation: PSA oxygen concentrators typically have two adsorbers that work in an alternating cycle. This ensures a continuous supply of oxygen without interruption.
Product Advantages:
Customizable Purity: The key feature of PSA oxygen concentrators with adjustable purity is the ability to modify the oxygen purity as needed. Users can adjust the device settings or controls to achieve the desired level of oxygen purity, catering to different medical or application requirements.
Versatility: These concentrators offer versatility in oxygen purity options. They can be adjusted to provide a wide range of oxygen purities, allowing for flexibility in meeting the diverse needs of patients or specific medical procedures.
Real-time Adjustments: The concentrators allow for real-time adjustments of oxygen purity. Users can modify the settings during operation, enabling on-the-fly modifications to match changing oxygen requirements or the condition of the patient.
Optimal Oxygen Utilization: By adjusting the purity of the extracted oxygen, these concentrators optimize oxygen utilization. They ensure that the delivered oxygen meets the necessary purity level while minimizing waste or excessive oxygen supply.
Efficient Resource Management: Adjustable purity PSA oxygen concentrators contribute to efficient resource management. By providing the exact purity required for a specific application, they reduce the consumption of unnecessary resources, such as higher purity oxygen, resulting in cost savings and improved resource allocation.
User-Friendly Interface: These concentrators typically feature a user-friendly interface that simplifies the process of adjusting oxygen purity. The controls and displays are designed to be intuitive, making it easy for healthcare professionals or users to make the necessary modifications.
In summary, PSA oxygen concentrators with adjustable purity offer the advantage of customizable oxygen purity levels. They provide versatility, real-time adjustments, and optimal oxygen utilization, while promoting efficient resource management. With their user-friendly interfaces, these concentrators empower healthcare professionals to tailor the oxygen purity to meet specific needs, enhancing patient care and resource efficiency.
