The concentrator takes clean compressed air as raw material and uses high efficiency lithium molecular sieve as adsorbent to produce oxygen from air under certain pressure.
The compressed air after purified and dried , were carried out in the adsorber by pressuring adsorption and decompression desorption. Due to the aerodynamic effect, the diffusion rate of nitrogen in the pores of lithium molecular sieve is much higher than that of oxygen. Nitrogen is preferentially adsorbed by lithium molecular sieve, and oxygen is enriched in the gas phase to form finished oxygen.
Then, the adsorbent desorbs the adsorbed impurities, such as nitrogen, to achieve regeneration after decompression to atmospheric pressure. Generally, two adsorption towers are set in the system, one is for adsorption and oxygen generation, the other is for desorption and regeneration.
PLC program controller is used to control the opening and closing of pneumatic valve to make the two towers circulate alternately, so as to obtain higher purity oxygen (93%±3).
Oxygen is a prescription drug in European and American countries and Japan. According to different needs of users, doctors will give appropriate prescription suggestions. Therefore, the quality of oxygen (including oxygen concentration, pressure and flow), the time of oxygen intake and the accuracy of oxygen flow are very important for users' home health care and oxygen therapy.

What Is a Portable Oxygen Concentrator?
Portable oxygen concentrators are battery-operated devices that provide supplemental oxygen to people who “require greater oxygen concentrations than the levels of ambient air,” says Sanul Corrielus, M.D., a board-certified cardiologist based in Philadelphia. “Oxygen concentrators draw oxygen from your immediate environment,” he adds, meaning they don’t require refillable oxygen canisters or tanks, which makes maintenance and upkeep easy.
How Does a Portable Oxygen Concentrator Work?
A portable oxygen concentrator, sometimes called a POC, is similar to a home oxygen concentrator (OC) but more mobile, says Corrielus. These devices are small enough to carry, which makes them ideal for travel, and some are approved for use on airlines.
How an oxygen concentrator works:
The device draws in air from your surrounding environment.
Air is compressed inside the device.
Nitrogen is filtered out of the air.
Pure oxygen is inhaled through a nasal tube (cannula) or mask.
Who Should Use a Portable Oxygen Concentrator?
Anyone with a condition that may cause a low blood oxygen level (hypoxia) may benefit from supplemental oxygen, says Bacheler. Such conditions can include anemia, asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, lung cancer, heart failure and congenital heart disease.
