Working Principle Description
The oxygen production by zeolite is mainly based on the different diffusion rates of oxygen and nitrogen in carbon molecular sieves. Under a certain pressure, that is, the diffusion rate of nitrogen on the surface of zeolite is greater than that of oxygen, which makes zeolite preferentially adsorb nitrogen, while most of oxygen is enriched in the non adsorbed phase. Zeolite itself has the characteristics that the adsorption capacity of nitrogen increases under pressure and decreases under pressure. Using this characteristic, oxygen and nitrogen are separated by pressure swing adsorption so to get 93% oxygen.
